SSCUP AGM Friday 27th.June 2008 at 1.30p.m.

The AGM was well attended and the business of the meeting was expertly conducted by our chairman Pat Lally.
It was encouraging to see positive debate about the future direction of the SSCUP and the enthusiasm of members from all over Scotland to continue the fight to have the voices of Scottish Senior Citizens heard in the corridors of power.
It was also encouraging to note that SSCUP leader, John  Swinburne, is still very much involved in political debate at National Level, and will be contesting the by-election due in his own constituency when a certain former First Minister resigns!!
The appointment of a new NATIONAL ORGANISER was confirmed following the AGM. More details will be available soon when Iris has had an opportunity to assess the developmental needs of the SSCUP and prepared her action plan!!! Watch this space!!!!!


SSCUP Central Scotland Region  have plans to raise funds. They will be meeting again on the 19th.of August to discuss ways of funding the 2011 Election Campaign.
